Annie Liang-Zhou

Annie Liang-Zhou specializes in cross-border impact investing, ESG and market entry strategic advisory, and education consulting.

Previously, she was director of external affairs of the U.S.-China Green Fund and still manages its corporate foundation focused on environmental education and action. Prior to founding the company, she was a development and research associate with the World Policy Institute focused on water and energy policy. Annie was also an associate with Neuberger Berman’s (formerly Lehman Brothers Asset Management) internal quant hedge fund and a derivatives analyst with MetLife Investments.

She earned her MBA from University of Oxford, MPA from Columbia University SIPA, where she serves as an ambassador, and her BBA from George Washington University. She is also on the International Advisory Committee of Miss Porter’s School.

Annie also serves on several non-profit organization boards including Teach for China, Beijing Cultural Heritage Protection Center, China Institute’s NextGen Leaders Circle, and World Monuments Fund’s Junior Board. She is a member of the National Committee on US-China Relations.

Jessie Li

Jessie specializes in international business and trade relationships between the United States and China and has facilitated multiple business collaborations between large international corporations.

Previously, Jessie was CEO of ZR Investments, a major investments and advisory firm focused on the fintech, education, and health & wellness industries. Prior to ZR, she was head of business development for Beijing New Development Group, where she managed several major overseas investment projects for established Chinese companies. Jessie was also an international client consultant for New York Private Bank and Trust.

Jessie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston’s Hilton College in hotel and restaurant management. She is a volunteer for the Overseas China Education Foundation.

Sean Xiao

Sean Xiao specializes in asset management, business operations, and neuroscience research, with extensive academic and professional experience.

Sean has served as a senior executive in China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, and Beijing Fuliye Institute of Information Science and Technology. He earned his MS from Tsinghua University.

William Chen

William Chen specializes in cross-border investment, real estate, and philanthropy. William led several major real estate transactions in New York City on behalf of Chinese capital. The transaction volume under his direct management was over USD 220 million and total underlying asset value was over USD 3 billion. Prior to that, William worked at Merriman Capital, Blackstone Group, and a family office both in the US and China.

William earned his Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from Cornell University and BS in Mathematics and BA in Financial Economics from the University of Rochester.
